Visual artists in Tucson and Pima County are invited to participate in this popular self-guided tour.

Registration includes:

• Inclusion in the 2008-2009 Arts Calendar, with studio listings, maps and images of work – over 6000 distributed statewide
• TPAC website promotional section with link to artist website
• Inclusion in the Open Studio Tour Exhibition
• Wide variety of event promotional print materials, including radio, television, newspaper and magazine ads
• Participation in an arts community  

The objectives of the TPAC Open Studio Tour are:

• To assist Pima County artists in marketing their work
• To promote the arts and increase public awareness of the quality and diversity of art created in our community
• To promote educational experiences for attendees, who meet artists and see them at work

To participate Visual Artists must:

• Have a studio located in Pima County.
• Open your studios Saturday & Sunday, November 8 & 9, 2008 from 12 noon to 5pm.  Studios must be open both days during these hours.
• Begin your registration by completing the fill-able form below. Registration is complete when we have received your registration form and payment.
• Submit images of recent artwork - images must be at least 300ppi, TIFF (preferred) or JPEG format, at least 3" on shortest side, max 6". Images should not include frames, people standing w/ the artwork, your studio or anything else besides the artwork. Images from previous Tours will not be accepted. Submit an image of artwork only please.
• Include all contact information in the form below for use in promotional materials and calendar including:

• Select the Arts Mediums for your listing:
  Select one for index: Clay/Ceramics, Glass, Jewelry, Metals, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography, Sculpture, Textiles, other category (designate)

Deadlines and Fees:
$45 Early Bird Fee per Artist on or before July 14, 2008, 4pm
$55 Fee per Artist between July 15 - August 14, 2008, 4pm
Deadline for all registrations August 14, 2008, 4pm
Registration will not be considered complete until we receive your registration fees.

Mapping: If there is any question about the location of your studio, please include a map with your check; place a red dot on the map at your studio location. You can photocopy a street map or a previous studio tour map or create a detailed hand-drawn map.  TPAC encourages artists to consider clustering studio locations for the ease Tour visitors.  

Tech Assistance:
If you would like technical assistance with your image submission, bring your image (more than one recommended) on a flash drive or your camera and all cables and a blank CD to ITT Tech on Thursday, July 10 @ 2:00pm. 1455 W River Rd, on the south side, just west of La Canada Dr. You will learn how to format your image for the Tour Program/Art Calendar.
